Because we are convinced of the quality of our products, we guarantee that all ContiTech Power Transmission Group products from the Automotive Aftermarket product range used for passenger cars are free from defects in accordance with current technical standards. We grant registered partners a five-year guarantee on these products.
The guarantee applies exclusively to automotive repair workshops in participating countries* for a period of 5 years from the date on which the product is fitted. Should our product exhibit a material or manufacturing fault, we will repair or replace the ContiTech product at fault. The claim under the guarantee is handled via the dealer from whom the product was purchased. Proof of the purchase of the part(s) and the date of fitting must be provided.
A workshop may only submit a claim if it has registered once on this page and accepted the guarantee terms and conditions. The guarantee only applies to products fitted after the registration date. The owner of the guarantee agrees to his data being used by us solely for internal evaluation purposes and consents to receive the ContiTech Newsletter by e-mail at the registered address (the owner may revoke this consent). The user can delete his stored data at any time. All rights under the guarantee also lapse automatically as a result.
The product must have been fitted by a qualified professional (automotive workshop). The guarantee is null and void if the products have been fitted or handled incorrectly or if the vehicle manufacturer’s specifications (e.g. change intervals, repair and maintenance instructions) have not been observed. The guarantee shall also not be applicable if the product has failed as a result of normal wear and tear, external factors (foreign body, contamination with fluids etc.) or as a result of improper operating/environmental conditions (e.g. tuning, racing).
Irrespective of this supplementary manufacturer’s guarantee, your statutory rights are not affected. This guarantee is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany with the exception of the provisions of private international law and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
